School Store Supplier Partnership Terms

1. Purpose
These School Store Supplier Partnership Terms govern applications to become an approved supplier on the S'gelaHub Education Store and the supplier's ongoing participation once approved.
2. Relationship with S'gelaHub Terms
These supplier-specific terms operate together with the S'gelaHub Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If there is a supplier-specific requirement in these terms, that supplier-specific requirement applies to the supplier activity in question.
3. Application and approval
Supplier applications are subject to review. The supplier must provide truthful, current business and contact information and any information reasonably required to verify the application. S'gelaHub may approve, defer, reject or suspend an application based on operational, compliance, quality, commercial or risk considerations.
4. Onboarding fee
The current once-off strategic supplier onboarding fee is R1,500.00, payable through the payment method made available by S'gelaHub before the application enters the formal review queue. Payment of the fee does not guarantee approval or publication of a supplier store.
5. Supplier responsibilities
The supplier remains responsible for product availability, lawful pricing, descriptions, quality, stock accuracy, fulfilment, packaging, delivery, returns, refunds and customer-facing compliance for supplier products. S'gelaHub provides the digital ordering and school-connected platform and does not become the supplier of record merely because an order is placed through the Education Store.
6. Supplier commission
Unless a written commercial agreement states otherwise, the supplier platform commission is 10% of qualifying sales generated through the S'gelaHub Education Store. The commission arrangement is separate from parent subscription income sharing.
7. Delivery and school batches
The supplier is responsible for delivery arrangements and delivery performance. Where S'gelaHub groups qualifying orders into a school bulk-delivery batch, the supplier's agreed delivery charge and free-delivery threshold will be applied according to the supplier's published delivery profile. S'gelaHub may allocate a shared batch delivery amount across participating orders for checkout and reporting.
8. Payments, fees and refunds
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Any payment-processing or transaction fee presented to a customer must be shown before the customer completes payment. Supplier refunds and return obligations remain the supplier's responsibility, subject to any applicable S'gelaHub store process and customer-law requirements.
10. Product and content standards
The supplier must not publish counterfeit, unlawful, unsafe, misleading or infringing products. S'gelaHub may remove or suspend products or supplier access where there is a material compliance, quality, customer-protection, security or reputational concern.
11. Personal information
The supplier may receive customer, learner, school and delivery information only to the extent necessary to fulfil legitimate store activity. The supplier must protect personal information, use it only for the authorised purpose, and comply with applicable South African privacy and data-protection obligations.
12. Suspension and termination
S'gelaHub may suspend or terminate supplier access where the supplier breaches these terms, fails to meet fulfilment or compliance obligations, creates material customer or platform risk, or where continued participation is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect the platform or users.
13. Records and communication
S'gelaHub may retain supplier application, payment, store and operational records for legitimate business, audit, dispute, compliance and legal purposes. The supplier must keep its business and contact information current.
14. Changes
S'gelaHub may update these supplier terms as the Education Store, payment flows, supplier model or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
